Best freeware scenery??

Featured Replies

Just curious, but what is your favorite freeware scenery? I've got tons of aircraft, but all of my scenery is default. What do you think? Earl

Define what you mean by scenery. Is it airports or terrain ?Michael J.

......or land class or terrain mesh or textures or autogen..... David

Definitely Norway Airports 7.0 the team of developers have been doing the scenery since FS95, so the scenery covers roughly all Norwegian airports. You can also download a detailed Mesh scenery of Norway, all should be readily available to download from the Flightsim.com scenery library.norway_ap6_2002l.jpg

I'm referring to airport scenery. Earl

HiMy favorite freeware scenery is LGAV Airport/Mesh and the two files can be found in the AVSIM library.Simply outstanding stuff.Ron

Ron Ackerly's (SP?) KMSP is amazing :) it is a framerate killer. It's in the avsim library under fs2000 scenery.Tim

Hey Earl, :-waveI have to throw my 2 votes for Shez's FS2002 scenery for Santa Ana/John Wayne Airport (KSNA) and his Long Beach Airport (KLGB). Both originally done in FS2000, now are brought into FS2002. Great renditions, IMHO, as I work close enough to KSNA to spend a lunch there once in a while, watching the flights come into 19R.
