Help with getting reverse thrust to work!

I thought if you held down F2, reverse thrust would work but it don't even with the airbrake deployed?? Any advice?Eric

Make sure your throttle is completly zeroed..try calibrating it with a stop of some sort which keeps it from completely zeroing while you calibrate..a thin screw or something which keeps it from coming all the way back while you calibrate..this will allow it to completely zero in the sim..hope this helps..JamesJ

Download and install FSUIPC. Read the User's Guide on Joysticks and calibrate your joystick, yoke, and/or pedals in accordance with the instructions provided.

Thats the only thing that will prevent reverse thrust. YOur throttle can be at full speed. Pressing f2 once lowers the thottle to a lesser rpm. But if you hold F2 down the reverse will kick in. Because your are lowering the throttle and engageing reverse all at once.Pete

Yup, make sure you hit shift and r to disable the autothrottle.Bob
