May 3, 200224 yr yes, i would say so. But this is actually good as it will save you money by not having to be connected all the time. But you can also change the intervall.cheersmmmol
May 3, 200224 yr Don,If you read the documentation that comes with Meteo you will see that you can connect in various ways.Default connection means Meteo is *always* connected to the internet and will update the weather every 6 minutes. The connection is dropped only when you close Meteo.'Auto Connect & Disconnect' means Meteo will connect to the 'Net, download the weather then disconnect. After a set period (6 minutes I think) Meteo will again connct to the 'Net and again download the latest weather. This conyinues until you close Meteo.'Get wolrld wx & stay offline' means Meteo will connect to the 'Net, down load the weather and then disconnect. This weather is stored on your HD so you can fly with anytime you like.Hope this clears things up for you.

If it is then definatly your phone company will be billing you. FS_METEO dials your internet ISP. On dialup most companies have a certain number of free hours. That is, hours that your twenty dollars a month covers. Mine is 150 hours. Anything after the 150 its a dollar per hour. So if you've not used up your "free hours" you wont be getting billed extra. Yuu'll just be using up your free hours
