LandCalc 2 Question?

What is the relationship of the file names shown by the program and those of FS2002?Which field of LandCalc 2 shows the landclass dierctly beneath the aircraft in top down (ctrl-S) view?Dick

Hi Dick.Those files names are the georeferenced CUSTOM names that are associated with the landclass vertex. There are 4, as each landclass vertex assignment will display 4 CUSTOM textures. ( These are best guess locations... you may need to slew to the NE to grab more names ). These filenames are familiar to photoreal designers... you can make a landclass BGL with value #252 for seasonal CUSTOM display, which gives a bit more leewat in designing photoreal. You can also use "252" as a VTP texture name, and it will display the CUSTON texture for that area.To view landclass assignment, your best bet is to load TMFViewer with the 'worldlc.bgl', and read the assignments directly from there.The left mouse button will reposition the crosshairs, the right button has some options, keypad + and - zoom, the arrow keys move about.Dick
