January 23, 200323 yr Hello!I have found a really nice Piper Pa-31 chieftain made in FSDS V1.x for FS2000 and it is great also for AI traffic. But... as many non-gmax models this one does not have landing gear down when on the groud. So I am curious, is this feature locked in mdl file or somewhere else? Does anybody know? Thanks for help in advance!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net
January 23, 200323 yr I saw somewhere where someone presented a way to lock the landing gear down. I believe they used a Hex editor on the *.mdl. Bill Sieffert
January 24, 200323 yr Hi!Thank You for Your reply. I do remember that some time ago, there was a brief talk about this. I searched the Scenery design posts for last year (with archive) to find all the post about MDL, landing gear etc, but without luck. Does anybody remember that post, does anybody know what should I look for in MDL file and to what shall I correct those bytes? Thanks in advance!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net
January 24, 200323 yr Commercial Member I can't remember such a discussion from this forum. Have you tried the Aircraft design or TTools forums? I think you might have more luck there.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
