January 31, 200323 yr I am having problems registering my FS2002 Pro edition of GMax, it tells me that my registration is wrong, Can anyone help?Waiting in antisipationNeil
January 31, 200323 yr Commercial Member I never had problems with it, just follow the instructions on the site. But, I don't know which version of GMax you are trying to install? With Fs2002 version 1.0 came. At the moment version 1.2 is already there. I think you can not register the older version anymore. Also the newer version has a better registration system, so that might help.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. January 31, 200323 yr I remember I personally had some problems with GMAX not accepting that I had registered, although I had done that. I do not remember what I did to cure the problem, but try to change e-mail adress that it will send you the confirmation to, or something like that. Sorry, I do not remember more clearly.
January 31, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member Like Arno said, the version of Gmax that shipped on the pro CDs is way out of date and you can't even register it now. 1.2 is a big improvement, especially in the realm of stability, so I'd recommend it. I don't know if this has changed, but the registration used to be tied to a cookie written to your web browser when you registered on the discreet site. If you didn't accept cookies or deleted it later the registration would need to be run again. Weird system, but maybe they've changed it.
