No i'm not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I would check to see if you runways and taxiways are using the same altitude. Look under the Sections menu item under General, then check the runway polygons, then the taxiway polygons.Are you also using a flattened area for the entire airport?
