August 4, 200322 yr Hi everyone, i am a new designer from venezuela (so my english is not perfect, but i guess you understand me :)) i have an airport that has 3 hangars by Kern Pegg, but non of them work (the textures doesn't work), so can someone tell me where can i find a new set of hangars, or repair these ones or find a program to cacth hangars of already created airports.Signs, my problem is that i put them in my airport and the textures doesnt appear at fs2002.Lights, can somone tell me where can i get a set of nice light to iluminate my terminal?The program i am using to desing my airport is FSscenary creator.
August 4, 200322 yr You can find hangar macros on almost every flightsim site. Flight Simulator uses a special type of texture system. You will need to modify your sign textures to DXT1 format using an editing program. A good one to use is Martin Wright's DXTbmp. I don't know about the lights. Sorry, I'm not exactly an expert either! Hope I helped.
August 4, 200322 yr Commercial Member Maybe a stupid question :), but are you sure that you copied all needed textures to the texture folder of your scenery? If they are there the tip about checking the texture format is also a good thing to try. If you make them DXT1 textures it will probably work better.About your lights. If you want a light to light a certain object you can best change the night texture so it looks like the object is illuminated.
