Holger - Thanks for the ortho reprojection process.

I went thru the process you had posted with using MicroDEM and Map Maker to reproject ortho's, and after a couple of adjustments I was able to get what I consider oustanding results. You are a Gee-knee-us with a capital "Gee".I may repost the instructions with some modifications/clarifications that I found. The only problem I've run into is that MicroDEM sometimes flakes out about memory and won't let me save an image over a certain size (32 Mb ?). But a clean reboot fixes the problem. Now on to figuring out how to make my photo look goooooood.Cheers,

Hi Edwin:thanks for the kind words; glad I could help. Also, thanks go to Bob Bernstein as he was the "cheapo" who wanted a freeware approach ;-) Please do post any modifications and clarifications. With more people developing photoreal textures for larger areas, this question will probably resurface frequently. Yup, I have those MicroDEM problems too; don't know whether it's 32MB of image size but it sure can be a bit of a pain.Good luck with coloring your area; I'm having a hard time getting my image to look the way I want it to but I'll persist.Cheers, Holger
