Recommended Posts

Hi guys, this is my 'annoying' problem, any suggestions please....I create a rectangle in Gmax, apply a texture of tree, person etc. with the alpha mask, save & export to a .bgl, all works fine untill when in FS2002 I go past & no image on the other side??? Am I doing something wrong in Gmax or do I need to modify something else? I click the "image on both sides" box in Gmax.Rob:-zhelp

All polygons only have one side by default. If you give the material the prefix ds_ it will become double sided.

Thanks, Thanks,........it works..Thank you very much Arno, much appreciated. Gmax is still very strange to me, I am pleased that I worked out the where the prefix was to be placed, in the 'Materials Editor' - 'Name' of course, that is for the benefit of the the next novice who has that problem. I am happy again - Ahhh...what next?:-) Rob.
