How can we use gmax lights? Is there particular names for the materials? Let's say I want to have a single light up a pole ; how do I do?Thankschristian

I posted my thoughts on this in a recent thread: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=15121&page= -- there are lots of other places to get information on using lights in Gmax, but it's as good a place as any to start. It's not hard once you get a couple of key concepts down.thanks,

I would advise you to get the Fs2002 MakeMDL SDK. It contains all the possible names that MakeMDL will recognise, including the prefixes for lights.
