November 8, 200322 yr Just wondering if anyone knows where the approach paths are stored in FS2002/2004.. What I am getting at is how does the plane know how to circle, or bank at 2 miles final when 40 degrees off to land. Are there "paths" in the sky?Are these editable at all? What I really want to do is add gthe ability for AI traffic in FS2002 to be able to do the LDA/DAM 26L approach in Honolulu... can this even be done in 2002? I see it being done in 2004...is there a file I can copy over? Why not use 2004 then... too many reasons why! Thanks,Chris
November 9, 200322 yr Author Commercial Member The AI in Fs2002 is much more basic then the AI in Fs2004, it for example flies in a direct line from departure to destination airport. So I don't think it is possible to let it fly approach routes. Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
