March 5, 200422 yr I've been experimenting with scenario editing with ground2k4 and coastline maker 2.2.1.Now i have a few problems:haveing created the bgl for the correct cell (the same i use in ground2k4 and that shows) i see no grid.I placed the bgl inaddon sceneryscenery (which is active by default)and the textureaddon scenerytexturebut nothing shows.why?I used the standard syntax which comes with coastlinemaker, i'm pretty sure it's not a command fault.Second problem is with ground2k4 and landclasses:if i define a polygon with texture filling, the "boundaries" are cut even with autogen. But landclass cells are too big.How do you overcome this? How do you do if you need to correctly shape an urban zone (or whatever for that matters)? And how do you change night lights positions?During night i have cities where during day i have forsest :(
March 5, 200422 yr Hello Erups, concerning the CellGrid scenery file: Do you use the FS 2004 version ?Cellgrid 2004a (http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=38116)Older version don't show up in the scenery.Regards,Edgar
March 5, 200422 yr Thank you, i didn't know there was a new version.Anybody knows anything about the landclasses?

It's possible to minimize the visible seam of a VTP2 by choosing an underlying landclass that doesn't contrast too much with the VTP texture. Alternatively, I've had pretty good results of drawing roads or rivers along the edges of VTP2 polys; they are a bit "fuzzy" and the edge looks softer.---" How do you do if you need to correctly shape an urban zone (or whatever for that matters)? And how do you change night lights positions?During night i have cities where during day i have forsest :("Finally, someone else is having this problem too ;-) Here's a post of mine with a work-around: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=18131&page=5Cheers, Holger
