May 6, 200224 yr Just visited this airport for the 1st time and when taxiing to the gate noticed the 'flashing graphics' started to appear. Basically it looks like some of the grassed area jumping around. Haven't had this at any other airports - has anyone else experienced this or is it a bug in the program code? My graphics card is 64Mb geforce 2 ti with Detonator 28.32 drivers running Win Me
May 7, 200224 yr Problem with either the programming code, or maybe a terrain texture elevation mismatch...kind of irritating....don't know how to fix it though...sorry.Brian A. NeumanWooodbury, MN
May 7, 200224 yr Hey Bud:My FS 2002 home base is KMSP, and I have definitely experienced what you describe.....repeatedly, though intermittently....while rolling out on landing, taking off, or taxiing, and the polygons seem to flash just around or near the aircraft. Not sure what to make of it, really. I've tried the "Texture & Lighting" fix posted in the forum here without success. It seems worse in spot plane mode, though I do notice it occassionally from the cockpit. My panels are mostly all third party add-ons, so that may have something to do with it, though this does not easily account for the problem in spot plane mode. Anyway, it's a minor annoyance and since I usually focus well ahead of the aircraft on takeoff and landing, not overly bothersome.Alex CN562ZMinneapolis PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
May 7, 200224 yr Unfortunately, it's a bug on Microsoft's part that is not repairable without somebody redoing the airport and using exclude code to "ignore" microsoft's KMSP.P.S. There's a freeware addon with complete airport signage for KMSP at our site.Thomas LinTaxiwaySigns.comVolunteers (testers and designers) needed, please visit the site for information
