May 16, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hi Wil,If most of the circular fields cross a LOD13 boundary couldn't you still put in a few that are move to one or the other side a bit. Obviously that wouldn't work if they are all arranged like a string of pearls but if they are, say, 3 columns wide you could put in two rows that don't cross boundaries.I don't know why you would see rectangular seams in the Beartooth where there aren't any VTP2 polys, or are you referring to those light blue slivers?Basically, the field-in-field setup should work just like your ski area; layer x for the square field, layer x+1 for the circular field on top. Just make sure that they are both VTP2 polygons and have different landclass texture types ;-)Cheers, Holger
May 16, 200422 yr Hello Holger,I did have four or five circular fields redrawn within the LOD13 boundaries. They looked OK. Then I tried drawing VTP2 square and rectangular fields with VTP2 circles within them at a higher layer number. The circles didn't appear! I'll give it one more go. If it doesn't work this time I'll just draw the cirles and rectangular and square fields as separate items. It looks pretty good that way.I have no idea why the seams appear in the Beartooths but they are there until you fly close to them. Then they disappear just like those in your cutblocks and my irrigation circles. I've noticed this for a long time. It isn't those light blue slivers, just narrow lines that cross at right angles.Back to the drawing board.Wil
