April 23, 200422 yr When in doubt...I am in the middle of building a small airfield. It is a grass glider strip with various hangers etc. I have initially used Airport 2.6 to create the field and used the tools that has to flatten things etc. As for the buildings I want to create those in Gmax. Although my initial reaction to the field was good, I now feel that the things like the Apron (which is actually very uneven) and the taxiway are to sharp. The polygons have a distinct edge, I want to make them blend in more with the surrounding field as they do in real life. Is there a way of doing this with any of the tools available? I would like to achieve the same results as Maskrider has with his CFS2 scenery.By the way I am no expert at this, so unless there is a complete idiots guide, my eyes will glaze over:-)
April 23, 200422 yr What MSFS are you using? If FS2004, I recommend using SceneGenX - http://www.airportforwindows.com/ and/or AFCAD221.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
