July 5, 200421 yr hi: I have downloaded some objects from this files library, because of it looks quite good, and I use SceneGenX. The problem is all of this files are .API or other extension name, they r used in AFW3.0, how can i use them in SceneGenX with XML? thanks
July 5, 200421 yr Author Commercial Member You can not use API objects with XML code. The XML code is the new Fs2004 BGL format, while the APIs are the old Fs2002 format. So you can not uses them together (BGL files made with AFW and API macros still work in Fs2004 of course). July 5, 200421 yr Hi!Sorry to dissapoint You but API's can be used only in FSSC/Airport for Windows/Ground maker etc. SCM files can be used in Abacus' ASD which is more or less obsolete now.But fortunatelly FS2004 still normally recognizes objects from API's so don't bother too much - just create scenery old fashionate way.Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.netP.S.: It might be possible to use those API's anyway but You'll need to put objects in library and then in SceneGenX use GUIDs of these objects in library. I haven't tested that but it might very well work.

The other way around works, you can call the new XML libraries with SCAMS API macros.
