Given the new runway designations at KMIA, I have changed my AFCAD files, but I don't know how to change the facility directory inside of FS9, it has added runways 8/26 but left 9L and 27R the same and not changed 9R to just 9, ect. Any ideas?Randy Jura, KPDX

You must write a new bgl file using XML code to change the runway numbers in FS9. AFCAD does not have the ability to do this. When you change the runways with AFCAD it only puts the right number on the runway surface. ATC does not know the numbers have been changed until you write the XML code.Once the XML has been written you now have to write an approach for the 8L new runway or ATC will ignore this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles.The easiest thing to do is search AVSIM for Active ILS and download KMIA Version 2. Read the readme on were to place the KMIA_ILS_jv.bgl and this will fix your problem.Hope this helps
