Editing the schema xmlns

Hi,I need to have the possibility to name oceanic waypoints with 6 characters.I edited the schema and the BGLcomp.exe accepted it.But installed the file into FS9 the waypoints have been renamed by FS9.Example: N57W20 has been renamed G108Why?G.Franco

Hi,It could very well be that, although BGLComp accepted it, FS does not like the tweaked schema you used. The limit that you changed probably wasn't there for fun.

hi,yes obviously it wasn't there for fun but it should be interesting to understand why and how the waypoints are inserted in FS9 but with a different name not included at all in the compiled .xml doc.G.Franco

Have you examined the description of the XML/BGL format that comes with BGLAnalyzer? It contains quite some useful information, but I am not sure if waypoints are in there as well.If a certain amount of bytes are defined for the name of the waypoint in the BGL format, that would explain the limit.
