A couple of tiles offshore

Featured Replies

Hi,I would like to have your opinion about a "little" problem I have with my FS2004 sceneries. I recently installed a new italian coastline package (Itacoast - released about a year ago I guess), following all the instructions and replacing some default .bgl with new ones. After the work, I have all the italian coastline in a better shape, but just some miles north of Rome I have two little (I guess LOD13 areas) terrain squares offshore the coast. I thought there must be some remaining from the default tiles in that area, and I just wanted to cover those squares with water. Now, what is the easiest tool to change the landclass for that tiles - I suppose is a matter of landclass, or maybe something else work better, I have just some notions about layers, LWM, VPS etc. and don't know which is the best way to solve my problem. Thanks for the helpFrancesco

Ciao Francesco,Just as a guess, and since you have not shown a screenshot of the problem, it sounds as if you have some stray land class assignments in the water. It is easy enough to cover them with land class value 100 (this is water!) and they will go away.If you do not know how to do this, please see "Simple Instructions for Modifying Land Class" in the Avsim library.Best regards.Luis

Thank you Luis, I'll go and see immediately. Didn't think about using landclass instead of waterclass :-)CiaoFrancesco
