Library Object Manager Betas

Featured Replies

For the braver souls :-) You can get a copy of the latest beta of LOM/SM from my website http://www.scruffyduckscenery.co.uk. This will always be the current beta for the next release ( Version 1.00 in this case) and has a couple of things which might be of interest.Has an enhanced library information function. You can use friendly names for libraries which are used in all the library filters and store a bunch of extra information such as distribution package, download source and a copy of the readme. Also lists all the objects in a library and textures needed for the library. You can print the information as wellThumbnails - If you want thumbnails then creating them is a bind. Also it seems pointless that we all do our own. This version has image import export and lets you create a single file containing the images for a library. As a single file it is easy to share. LOM can import packages created by others and there are a couple of examples on the site.Feedback much appreciated if you decide to take a lookThanks

Hi,Just a bit of a heads-up. LWMViewer2's object manager will save screenshots of every object in a given library automatically along with XML compatible with RWY12's, so if this can read that format you should be able to import it straight away. If you need something different (and don't mind, of course) I can add in some extra options. The images are named by the object GUID to avoid duplications. You just need to align the preview window to how you want it and hit the button; any that don't fit or don't look good can be re-saved individually.HTHJim
