July 13, 200619 yr Hi GuysI have searched for some tutorials on the best way to take a hand painted aerial photo of an airport and lay it down in my scenery project.I look at scenery's done by fly Tampa and wonder how they got such a high resolution ground texture aligned so perfectly! I have been trying with ground2k however its saying my resolution is too high.Any tips & trick would be appreciated, and if there is a tutorial out there I have missed please post a link. Thanks & Regards, TED320

The mesh techniques (resample, VTP) has a limited resolution of about 4.8 meter per pixel. So I think it is easier to place the high resolution image with a tool like GMax. You can then make a grid for the image and apply the textures. With a little tweaking of the generated BGL file, you can make really good looking ground polygons that way.
