Scenery folders in FSX

Featured Replies

HiIs there a list that specifies which areas are aligned to which folder numbers in the scenery file in FSXThanks Paul

Hi Paul,I don't know if there is some list published. But if you install the FSX SDK (found on one of your FSX DVDs), you'll find the information in the file "Terrain and Scenery.html", which is found in the folder "...Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator X SDKSDKEnvironment KitTerrain SDK"Look for the heading "Base File Information" about half way down the long document.Ulf B

Take a look for a utility TCalcX_002.zip. Install FSUIPC4 and this will give you the folder and file ID for your aircraft location. Other than that in the sdk tmfviewer also will report the proper folder/file based on cursor position.scott s..
