Problem with clouds in FS Meteo

Featured Replies

Hi guysWhats going on here? Sometimes when at cruise level I get these strange very unrealistic clouds....Anyone knows how to solve it?Regards Michael

An undocumented 'feature' of FS, for a fix go talk to MS :-)

Im not sure if those clouds are volumetric but I had a problem with flat clouds, and i solved that to switch off the in game fps/position text by pressing control+z.Im not sure if thats your problem by your screenshots.Greetz,Paul

Those are actual cloud formations, known as ZZ Tops. They resemble many beards floating across the sky :-) Actually, I have seen them in FS2002 before, but I use FS Skyworld to rotate the cloud types, so they don't stay around long.

Actually I think they're called Don King Cumulus.
