December 21, 200619 yr Global Mapper - when converting from NAD83 to WGS84 (yes they are very close but was curious) the WGS84 image is "tilted" slightly in the clockwise direction. If that image is applied to resample it wants to make a straight edged image (square or recrangle). Resample "fills in" the blank areas, due to tilting, with a straight edged image. The image in the BGL now has a light colored border.Regards,Dick Boley regards, Dick near Pittsburgh, USA
December 22, 200619 yr Author Dick, I understand what you've said, it appears to be a simple observation. By the way, you can tell resample to ignore a specific color by the nullvalue command, or you can eliminate the border using a blend mask. Best,Bob
