July 8, 200718 yr Hi allI created a mesh for FSX from a geotiff file and after compiling it i tested it in FSX. It came out with a lot of spikes (no voids). I heard 3DEM can fix that, but i don't know how. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.P.S: Does this happen with all the mesh we create from geotiff files? July 8, 200718 yr Could this be an artefact created by whatever interpolation algorithm RESAMPLE.exe used?Have you tried different algorithms? Point sampling is the simplest (and worst) of them all, But I would be surprised if that algorithm still created spikes.Christian
July 9, 200718 yr Author Hi ChristianI just dragged and dropped the file over resample.exe, it compiled the bgl and when testing it it had spikes over all the island coast. The center of the island is ok though. I don't know how to fix it.
