Airport Design Editor for FSX

Recommended Posts

ADE Has been in development for a while over at www.fsdeveloper.com. Until now it has been in the very early stages of development and still has some way to go before being ready for public release.ADE is based on the Scenery Design Engine and provides a 2D CAD type designer/editor for airport facilities. The easiest way to describe it is to say that it aspires to do for FSX what AFCAD2.2 does for FS9. AFCAD is an excellent program and a very hard act to follow :-) ADE reads and writes Bgl format with no requirement for intermediate Xml and links directly to FSX so that you can use the position of the aircraft to position things.if you would like to check it out then please visit the Scenery Design Engine Forum over at www.fsdeveloper.com.Be aware that the program is currently not complete and there is no operating manual (although there are operating notes and most functionality is discussed in the forum)
