August 6, 200718 yr Hi all,Some time ago, some kind soul posted a link to a spreadsheet that had hyperlinks to various FS texture files. This was particularly useful to preview textures when editing scenery.Unfortunately I have lost that spreadsheet. I was wondering if anyone knew of it's existance and secondly if you could make the link available again. With thanks in advance,Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern AustraliaCheck out my 5th Around the World flight with MS FSX at http://members.iinet.com.au/~portercbp/fly...W_05/index.html Core i7 3820 | Asus P9X79-DELUX SLI M/b | 32GB Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz RAM | DeepCool Gemmaxx CoolernVidia GTX580 1536MB GDDR3 Video | ASUS MW221u 21" WS LCD2 x Kingston V300 240gb SSD RAID for OS and FSX | 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1Tb SATA HD's in RAID | 1 x 1Tb ext b/up driveAntec P193 Case | Corsair 1000W PSU | MS Win 7 Professional 64 BitMy website and aviation photo gallery - www.christopherbporter.com
August 6, 200718 yr Commercial Member Hello Chris, are you talking about FS9 or FSX? And I also assume you're talking about land class ground textures, as opposed to other types of scenery textures? For FS9 there are a few visual guides available in the AVSIM library. I mostly use James Bertelson's PolyView module - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04sd&DLID=47486 . More detailed is Joachim Buhre's land class spreadsheet, available at http://www.jobia.de/ or directly as http://www.germany-vfr.de/Jobia/Testscener...testscenery.zipFor FSX I believe that Luis Feliz-Tirado is working on an expansive catalog. In the meantime there's my spreadsheet whose preview images of textures are restricted to Region B (North America; though the other regions use mostly Region B textures as well): http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=57245Hope that helps.Cheers, Holger
