Secret Project #1: This one is a classic!

I just find it great that we are talking about this old propliner. I have been waiting for just such a quality product for ever. And knowing Henning Van Rensberg is producing it is simply music to my ears. Cheers,

    Tweaking Trim control sensitivity

I could not find any repeat statement any where near the... PitchTrimDownIncrement and PitchTrimUpIncrement statements...Strange
  3. >At least I can say this is a healthy debate on a very wanted>and serious issue. What can I say when reading a quote like>this >>"3. It is not up to AVSIM to judge through advertising which>products are good or bad. That is the customer's judgment. As>long as they pay their fee, the worst product in the world>should be able to be advertised.>>Maybe its the realisation that this is not a site that is>truly in the best interests of flight simmers. Be carefull>when you proport to be a freind of users, and then at the same>time accept funds from a suspect organisation or developers,>and sit on the fence claiming that this is a fair and>reasonable arrangement.>> Please if you are to continue the free advertising from all,>then allow a forum where those advertisers can be questioned>on where the shortfalls are not being addressed. You say you>allow this, but I have seen threads locked, and changes to>statements that have been made as part of the official Avsim>Organisation, where there was obvious coercement to change the>dialogue of a notice or story etc.>>Finally, going back to my first statement, this is healthy>dialouge, and one hopes that it will continue to the>betterment of all A brilliant and well written post... Addon Aircraft cost more then sim....

    >Yes, but a set of golf clubs is not often priced more than>the cost to purchase a golf course, which is I think the>proper analogy. Not really, your analogy states that the addon costs more than the computer required to run the sim on...
  7. Thanks for letting us know David, there's some quality stuff there for sure.Cheers,Chris Porter:-outtaMy FSEconomy Grouphttp://www.freewebs.com/sasflying/index.htm

  9. I have not done any comparisons between FSX and FS9, but I have reinstalled and configured my setup in accordance with David Roch's excellent tutorial and am currently experiencing excellent results with FSX, Vista and SP2 DX10 Preview.Having recently compeleted a flight between Bangkok and Phuket, I was experiencing FR's up to 75 FPS over water and in the mid 50's over the islands between the two loactions. It is much better than I experienced since I initially loaded up FSX on release. My system specs are listed below...Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern AustraliaIntel Core 2 Duo E6700ASUS P5N32-E SLI Deluxe Motherboard4GB Corsair VS DDR2 667Mhz RAMInno3D 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 590MHz VideoASUS MW221u 21" Wide Screen LCD2 x 320Gb WD SATA DrivesCreative X-Fi Platinum Sound Lian Li PC-B20B Aluminium Black CaseMS Vista Ultimate OEMCH FlightSim Yoke USBCH Pro Pedals USBCH Throttle Quadrant USBTrackIR 4 Pro and Track ClipMSFS FSX Deluxe Edition Full install at 1400x960x32My FSEconomy Grouphttp://www.freewebs.com/sasflying/index.htm

    >I guess since I was directly involved with the production of>the update I should temper my posts a bit better, and will>from now on as I really did not see it as blatent>advertising.. but please be aware, my intentions were only to>try and help lift the bar for everyone so they may enjoy the>sim as much as I do. And I personally see nothing wrong whatsoever with the above course of action. On the contrary, I see it as commendable and should be encouraged as this hobby needs to grow and prosper. It's just that some others do not see it that way...And please re-read my post... I did not say anything about "blatent" advertising. All the very best to you and your very excellent product...Chris Porter:-outta

Nice work guys, well done...And isn't it nice to see that a bit of subtle advertising can be permitted in the main FSX forum for a change.Cheers,Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern AustraliaMy FSEconomy Grouphttp://www.freewebs.com/sasflying/index.htm
