May 15, 200818 yr Hi,Im creating photscenery with sbuilderx and it while sbuilder is an awsome program it takes a long time to cover a large area in high detail. So my question is, is it possible to set sbuilder to capture a larger area than your screen size as a background? That would make it much easier to cover large areas because it would cut down on panning quite a bit.
May 15, 200818 yr There is a program from Luis Sa that does just that - Get Background. If you go to the forum you should be able to find its location (http://www.ptsim.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=22).Regards,Dick BoleyA PC, an LCD, speakers, CH yokehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/188611.jpg regards, Dick near Pittsburgh, USA

May 17, 200818 yr Hello,http://www.ptsim.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC...218&whichpage=1Thanks to Luis Sa for all this work,Best regards.
May 22, 200818 yr Hey thanks. Does anyone know how to use this program though? I downloaded the tiles with sbuilder running and nothing happens, how do I convert them into .bgls from here?
May 22, 200818 yr The files go into the appropriate Tiles folder. In SBX you will want to View | Show Background. Then File | Add Map from Background. This will allow you to select a region that will be turned into a large BMP file for compiling. Then choose Select | All Maps and hit the green compile button. There is a limit upon how large of a scenery you can make. When the box pops up that lets you select the area and the zoom level I can do some quick math to know how much will be too much. If you select an area that's say 112x80, plan on it not generating the file needed. An area 40x30 may work, depending upon your system. This could mean splitting any work into smaller sizes to get the task accomplished.
