Possible to have mesh files on separate drive?

Recommended Posts

Hi,I have R. Taburet's mesh and landclass files. My computer has two HDs, drive C: and D: respectively. My main FS folder sits on D:, but with all the AI planes and add-on sceneries etc it's gotten pretty full. So I wondered whether I can move the mesh folders to drive C: (of course changing the scenery directory accordingly). Does that hamper performance? Will the mesh show up correctly?Cheers

Hi Mozart;YOu can do that no problem - and make sure the path on your scenery.cfg is reflecting the new location - and point to the right hd.I would not move the landclass files - you can run into trouble with those and experience memories leaks.i tested myself and did not notice any performance issues - after mesh was moved into a slave driver.happy holidaysraimondo
