Overwriting default flattens

Recommended Posts

Guest Crashgate3

I've just got the hang of making my own mesh from scratch. I'm working on a scenery project in which I want to make some hills very close to an airport. The trouble is that even though I have my mesh at the highest priority in the scenery library, the original flattened area from the default airport is still showing up. Is there any way to remove this, or at least make it smaller?

Sorted it now - I used LWMviewer to see what bgls were active in the area I was woking on, and just renamed the extension of the flatten bgl.

Since a flatten covers an entire LOD5 extent, that may kill a lot of airports. Recommend using LWMViewer to generate the source code, then edit out the LWM flattens and recompile.scott s..
