Reseting Airports?

Featured Replies

After I have used AFCAD to modify an airport and I have problems, is there a way to reset the airport to its default version? This way I could start over from scratch. I deleted the airport name and the flightplans, but for some reason it is still refering to the airport.Thank you for the tips.

yellow5,The latest update of AFCAD (1.3) beta I think, has a catalog option added. It lists all non-default scenery you have added, and gives the option of resetting to default. It also has a very cool "Fault Finder" that finds unconnected nodes..etcCJ PuttKTPA

Look in your fs2002scenedbAFDFILESScenery folder. You should find two files for the area you modified labelled, e.x.:usncaf02.bglusncaf02.ORIGINALDelete or rename the *.bgl file. If you rename, make sure you rename the extension not the file name, i.e., *.OLD, *.NASTY, *.BUSTED.Next rename the *.ORIGINAL file to *.bgl. You now have the default fs2002 file installed.
