Having just downloaded the settings for world-wide airlines I see that so far only the MAJOR european airlines have been assigned settings. Is anyone out there making settings for the likes of easyjet or flybe? It would be nice to have a standardised set as they say!

AS I understand it, the problem has been there are more airlines than there are MDL settings to match up with. I have been working with KLAX using the the Universal Aircraft/Gate Radius Settings from PAI's site. There are about 40 domestic airlines at KLAX and almost as many international airlines. Multiply that times the various types of aircraft each airline flies and you begin to see the problem in comming up with a standardised set. Fitz

If your talking about the charter airlines, the latest version of the matrix has a slot for European charters. They all will have to share gates but there is no other alternative. Problem is there is only about 50 slots for every airline in the world to share so only the major airlines can have unique slots.Even if there were more slots the smaller airlines would still have to share gates somehow.Matt Fox

The limitation really isn't the number of radius settings available. The limitation is how do you assign a gate to an airline that has one flight a day into LAX? You can't reserve a gate just for that airline so the smaller airlines will always have to share gates.The international airlines all share gates at International terminal and that works just fine if you set them up right.Matt Fox

Here is shot of KLAX International Terminal. All these gates are same radius and they automatically collect all the international airlines even though the international airlines may be different radii than each other.Matt
