Taxi speed

Featured Replies

As usual another question from me :-)....Is there a way to increase taxi speed for AI ?

Yes, there are a couple of utilities that do that. Can't remember their exact names, I suggest you search the Library using appropriate keywords.Stamatis

TaxiSpeed.exe works fine. Can't remember where I got it from. Hacksaw maybe! It gives you current speed and you can set a new speed very easily!

The other one is AI Speed by Andy Robinson (available here), which in addition lets you change the speeds in turns as well as straight line movement.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

I'm having a problem with AI Speed that I can't seem to solve and am wondering if this has occurred before with anyone else.Actually it is with AIPATCH that I have the prob. I always get the Sim1.dll is corrupt message. So I go to the MSFS disk, extract out the original file and try to use AIPATCH again...still the same problem. Taxispeed never complains, but I can't adjust turn speed with it. AI Speed works fine; but it is a pain to try to remember to set the speeds every time I want to fly...-hoo
