Awhile back, Lee implied the new version would be more graphically oriented due to the same data having a much more graphic effect on the game... is that indeed the case (or am I just remembering wrong? *grin?*)

That is indeed the case, AFCAD2 Lays out Runways, You select your line types (Right [solid, Dashed, None], Left [solid, Dashed, None], Center [Dashed, None], Lighting [Low, Medium, High]) and it is all reflected in the scenery. Lee has done a Great job, so great that I myself feel a need to send him something for all he has done!
