Ok, so what does this mean in Ebglish. When contacting Clearance for long flights they tell you FL330. How do you tell at what flight level you are (or what is this in altitude)?Thanks----

Just add two zeros: FL330 = 33,000 ft. Be sure and set your altimeter to 29.92 at 18,000 ft and above also. Reset to proper field setting after descending through FL180 on approach.
