Setting memory allocated to Fly! II replay buffer

Featured Replies

There was a variable in FLY!2k that would allow you to specify the amount of memory allocated to the replay buffer (SETBLACKBOXMEMORY or something like that). It was set in the FLY.ini file. Does that variable exist for Fly!II - and does anyone out there know what it is?Thanks.-michael

Michael,Check your fly.ini file and see if you have the following variable: blackboxMemoryK=1000. If not, add it and increase the allotment - see if you get an increase in the recording length. If none of this works, be patient - this may be included in a future patch.

If the line doesn't exist, add it to the SIM section. Increase the setting and see if you gain replay length. If not, we are working with this right now in the beta team, and it appears to be functioning well for a future release.

Randall,Just had the chance to try it out - seems that it does not work. Will be looking forward to that future patch!Thanks.-michael

Ok Michael,There may be a "buffer" addition for this that will do the trick in the next patch.
