Why I Like Fly!

Featured Replies

Hi,A friend asked me yesterday why I keep my interest in a "dead" simulator like Fly!. Well I just told him:Reasons? Because this:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d67389d2043caa8.jpgBeautiful and complete panels with pilot and co-pilot chairs like no other simulator in the market,this:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d6738bd20b2ea23.jpgknobs and instrumentsthis:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d6736c71cf34a20.jpgmore knobs and instrumentsthis:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d6738df210db92b.jpgguess what? :-)this:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d6738f52130de1e.jpgbeautiful 3D external aircraft modelsand this:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d67391721484cb9.jpgalmost real don

Hi Keyton, nice to see you around, and that`s one reason I like Fly too.I completely agree with what you say about Fly! It`s alive as long as we fly. Actually I am still enjoying your Rio scenery in Fly2k, and waiting impationtely for your new sceneries.Great shots by the way. Take careRodger :-beerchug

Great stuff!!!As always.

I agree Rodger. The Island of Noronha was the first (only?) tropical type place in Fly! (yachts in the water :-) ). It would be nice to have a little island scenery again in Fly2.Ben

Hi Rodger,Nice to see you too, my friend. :-)I

Hi Ben,Thank you. This island will be my first complete scenario for Fly! II. It

Thanks Gregg. Nice to see you guys around here too!Keyton Cabral

That's great news Keyton.Really looking forward to it :-)ThanksBen

KeytonI agree entirely with your comments about Fly!Using other sims makes you realise how brilliant the Fly! panels and aircraft are. They have really captured the feeling of 'being there'.This is the Flight Sim for the serious flyer !!!RegardsJohn Amm.

KeytonYou are absolutely right. This is the most interesting and exciting simulator to delevelop over and even though I'm the only one using Fly I'll endure.I've been around trying to develop sceneries for Brazil. This is one of the problems with Fly, whatever version. Brazil is almost missing. The major problem I also have been facing is the lack of tools to work with terrain and elevation. I didn't know there is somebody else trying to populate Brazil. In the time of Fly! (not II) I've been using a wonderfull Rio scenario. I've deleted all my Fly one stuff and don't know if it was your work. If so, congratulations, if not, congratulations to whomever created that.I've posted some questions a minute ago in the Forum for Fly developers and mentioning exactly my problem with Rio. Santos Dumont has runways half length over the water and the taxiways are unusable. Have you been working to solve it?Cheers___ JJLobo ___55 11 37268158
