September 12, 200223 yr Hi,Just a quick question. Apart from training, under what other circumstances would the Navajo, PC12 and King Air be operated with two crew? Thanks ric
September 13, 200223 yr Hi Ric,According to Brazilian law, these aircraft will must have pilot and copilot if doing comercial flights, like air taxi or ambulance.Regards, :-beerchugMarco Antonio SilvaBrazil
September 13, 200223 yr In the US rules are more complicated but also more flexible. Many airplanes normally operated with 2 pilots may be operated with a single pilot (even commercially) provided the pilot received special training and other conditions are met ...Other examples: In Europe you can't operate a single-engine turboprop commercially (PC-12) but it is allowed in the US. VFR in Europe is restricted to daytime flying, not so in the US, etc.Michael J. Michael J.
