C4TO V3.(any) not working for me

Hi All C4TO Version 3 users (DLL Version). I was previously using V2 with scripts and had some success, so was quite excited when I saw the promised DLL version came out. I installed it as per the readme file and started up Fly!II. After ALT-F12 (no text to indicate anything's working) I load a flight plan with start (KSFO), destination (KLAS) and several waypoints, autogenerated by the flight planner. When I press Alt-A, the frequency of the comm radio changes, but when I press Alt-C, no sound is emitted. I can hear engine sounds and I can, in desparation, use the built-in ATC. Am I missing something? I am flying the PMDG 757, which the readme says is supported, so does anyone have any ideas what I can try? I've tried installing V3.0, V3.1 then all the available update patches and nothing makes any difference.Regards and best wishes for ChristmasColin Beggmailto:Colin.Begg@ntlworld.com

Hi Colin,I believe in order to begin your session with the latest versions, ALT-F for File IVR (start new ATC session)is necessary - not the old way. C4TOkeys.txt file in the zipfile will have all the keyboard commands for you. I was reading the C4TO Readme.txt which came with V3 and it says to start with left Alt+F12. Reading C4TOKeys.txt, its Ctrl-Alt-/. Very different results. It works. OK, so my home airport has no ground and I can't start from there (just a shushing noice when I contact ground) but C4TO is up and running.Thanks ever so, now its back to editing databases, which is where I was up to with the Flyscripts version (and didn't get anywhere). Much of the information for running C4TO version 3 comes from version 2 and there are several errors. Alt-F is the proper way to get into version 3. I have both version 2 and 3 installed, version 3 does not use Flyscripts, version 2 can still be used with the old keystrokes even with version 3 installed.Zane

Plus, Version 3 covers airports without towers - the file I am using to get my info is Version 3.2 of C4TOkeys.txt dated 4/14/2003.Do hope this helps! Glad to know it is working, Colin!
