July 11, 200421 yr Hi SteveHonest, you are as good as I am, and you have made a lot more models than me. So we should share the title:-jumpy - just kidding keep them coming and have fun in GermanyHarald
July 11, 200421 yr Hi Wayne,Frame rates in general are dire for us MAC uses, but the airports I refer to are large Model airports (EGLL, JFK, BOS), plus I'm only running a 32mb card.Having done a few tests, the problem areas actually appear to be the runway thresholds and not necessarily the models.RegardsJohn
July 11, 200421 yr John, I did a scenery for JFK (download ID=41409). If you haven't tried that one, give it a try and see what happens.
July 17, 200421 yr Sorry Harald only just spotted this post!We will share this title OK :-lol I have already started STEVES MODELS V2 with 6 new models so far.The large dark building is more dockland type building we have over here. The two lighthouses are taken from those on the Wirral across the River Mersey from Liverpool. The House is re textured with Ivy growing on the front. Another typical British house. But just because Im British doesnt mean Im only going to do British. More models are planned from around Europe and the Americas.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/84442.jpg All the best SteveMy Websitehttp://www.wrexhamspace.orghttp://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ysomdesign/banner.jpg
July 21, 200421 yr You have made a fantastic work, Steve. It was a long time ago since I was active in the Fly-forum, butyour new models made me thinking of improving my super quickgenwith your new models. Back in time, Jure and I was strugglingwith roads for instance and the number of useable objects wasn'tthat much. However, I don't know yet if I have the time to spend on it, butsurely it's tempting. I wonder if someone would be interestedin a new version of super quickgen?Best regards Bj
July 21, 200421 yr AHHHH Super Quickgen,Another of my favorites to useHope you continue with your workJeff
August 2, 200421 yr What an honour :-) Thankyou for your kind words.A new version would be great. I need a lot more experience though to make very low poly objects for this kind of work ;-) Sadly the bad news, Im living away from home at the moment, and away from my computer. Im using my Brother in laws computer here in Germany and he doesnt like the idea of me on his computer all day, or taking it over :-lol So its going to be way ahead in the future.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/86423.jpg All the best to you all from me and my Family in Amsterdam, Steve. My Websitehttp://www.wrexhamspace.orghttp://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ysomdesign/banner.jpg
