January 20, 200521 yr Well, on a whim last night, I reinstalled Fly!II, patched her up, installed some sceneries, added some planes and did a little Terrasceneing. I pretty much used Fly! and Fly!II exclusively until FS9 was brought onto the market. Built a brand new machine to run it and overall have been very pleased with it. (You gotta admit, it sure is purty at times ;) ) Anyway, I always check the Avsim Fly! forum on my daily check of flight sim news and, like I said earlier, I decided to reinstall Fly!II just for a change and to take a break from MSFS.I generally like to fly with a "story", so to speak. I'm a member of a couple different VA's and embarked on an "Around the World" trip early last year. I started in Seattle and have so far worked my way to Veneice, Italy. I've done the entire trip in GA planes. (Took the long way across the Pacific, up and over). When I have time, I take my Beechjet (FS9), but 90% of my flying has been in single's and light twins. Okay, so finally, what are my questions?1) Seeing as I'm in Italy, what sceneries should I get? I'd like some better mesh/elevations and some more airport sceneries. I've looked around in the library a little here and saw some stuff. I have taxiways now. If anyone has it installed, could someone post a screen cap of the photoscenery for that part of the world? 2) Also, what should I get (and how to install it) from the ROTW site for France? In my flight sim adventure, I'm headed to France next and I noticed a LOT of great stuff on their site. Although, I can't read much of it.. :-)Anyway, I see that I'm just kind of rambling on about stuff, so I'll end it here. I'm looking forward to using Fly!II a little bit and it is nice to see that Fly!II is still hanging on. I've always liked this simulator.Dondo
January 20, 200521 yr Its a pity you cant hold on for a bit, Dan and Giorgio are creating Scenery for Venice, right up to Trieste. I have made one Airport, Aosta, in the Italian Alps.
