September 24, 200520 yr Author Hi! Colin!Sure, beautiful scenery! The lightning is excellent, we can really feel the atmosphere. I have yet to find those landing spots in the mountains, do you say "altiports" in english as well?Cheers!Pascal
September 26, 200520 yr Hi Pascal,I've never heard the expression altports but it's a pretty good name :-)Colin
September 26, 200520 yr "Altiports" or "altisurfaces" are the french names for "mountain airports"."Altiports" have concrete runways and "normal" equipements."Altisurfaces" have grass or snow runways and have no specific installation, just a short runway. This is an "altisurface" in the new ROTW's sceneryhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/128143.jpg
