Hi,I downloaded metar for a certain area and weather shows it raining at that area however when uploaded in FLY2 no rain only clouds. Am I missing something.Thankschris_CA

Chris,Did you set the options to change any scattered layers into broken layers when rain present in a metar report? Go through the options / preferences and look for that. Often times a metar report will have FEW or SCT in the low clouds, and for some reason, Fly! II ignores rain reports if the broken layer is above a report of FEW or SCT clouds. Now, you could manually go into the file and make the changes, or try to get infoMetar to do it. Me, I usually do up a flight path in infoMetar, download then thin out the reports, save the resultant thinned file and then edit it via Notepad.
