New G4 : FlyII out ?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I explain : being French, I use the european version of FlyII. After booting, I choosed the french language on the configuration screen. And if I went in the menu to configure the keys, FlyII was out. Finally, I choosed the english language and all was well. The menu was accessible, and I saw that the keys were ill attributed. For example, the up, down, right and left arrows of the extended keyboard were (certainly due to a bug) seen by the configuration screen as keypad keys which were reserved for others tasks. And there was many other cases due to french keyboard singularities..So I had no chance to be "heard" by the planes when I keyed !Now, all is right. May this lesson be useful to other Flyers who have exotic keyboards.

For the same reasons, my yoke was not initially recognized by FlyII under the french version. With the english version, I was able to configure also the buttons and commands of the Yoke. When I rebooted in french version, all worked perfectly.A yoke is great but the keyboard commands are also essentials.
