Airnav Back On Track

Recommended Posts

I don't know if any of you noticed this, but last year Airnav, a fantastic online source of U.S. navigation and airport data, removed all of the detailed info on ILS, Localizer and related data. It was still a good source of information, especially on runways, com frequencies, etc., but I was really disappointed in the loss of localizer data, as it's been a godsend for exact placement and editing of Fly! approach systems.I wrote them a few weeks ago, asking if the data was going to be posted again or whether they could point us to a good alternative source. Well, happy day - they notified me that "due to popular demand" they're bringing it back! :-yellow1 So folks - if you need the exact location and frequency of that missing middle marker, etc. go and get it - they've reactivated the information and linked the data with the respective runways.

Well done Randall!:-)Pascal__________________________________________________FLY! II tips Anti-aliasing: On some machines, you must set FSAA to 4x (GeForce2) to make it work. No need to disactivate AGP.Don't like the blurried textures? Try with FSAA on, and these values in the Render.ini :mipLevelCount=4 (if it causes problems rather set 5)mipMapFlag=128

Well, I doubt very much I did it alone, but I figure it couldn't hurt to try. There are ways to interpolate (as I have done for approaches outside the U.S. when necessary), but it sure is great to have someone say: "It goes exactly here." :-)
