Possibly a Great Find for fellow Alaskan Scenery Develo...

Recommended Posts

After about 4 months of searching, I finally navigated the AK geospacial clearing house to find DLG files for Alaska, the road DLGs unfortunately appear to all be dead links, but the hydrology files are downloading just fine, I haven't tested them in Terrascene yet, however. So far I've only veiwed them through a geodata veiwer. With anyluck, I'll have the Cook Inlet area fairly well detailed someday soon. Now just to find some place that has more then just Valdez in the way of LULCs. ;)If any other scenery developers want to try the files in their area, the files all can be accessed from this page: http://agdc.usgs.gov/data/usgs/geodata/dlg...rography_S.htmlIt'll initially take you to the hydrology page, but you can navigate easily from there to the other AK DLGs.John S.
