September 18, 200322 yr Hi all, I'm trying to make a pbm Icon file for a model I'm doing, but I cannot seem to get a version Fly!Graphics will recognize to convert. I've tried resizing to BMP, JPG, TGA, TIF in PhotoShop 7 then convert to the PBM with Fly!Graphics. Can someone provide a little insight as to what I might be doing wrong? Many thanks!Ken Wood :-sun1Gateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster
September 18, 200322 yr OK Ken!Here we go.Get your bmp file and resize it to 128X64.Make sure also its 256 colors. As below...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/37697.jpg Now use Flygraphics to convert it to your pbm files. Now pop them into your art folder.I hope this helps you.Steve.http://mysite.freeserve.com/wrexhamspace/wasp.jpg][/divSteve.Homepage.http://mysite.freeserve.com/fly2theuk/index.html My United Kingdom Scenery.http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...&Go=Change+ViewMy Aircraft Repaints.http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...&Go=Change+View
September 18, 200322 yr Author Thanks, Steve... I had to pull out PSP to get the colours reduced. Could not find where to do that in Photoshop, try as I might! T'was the old 256 colors hang-up. ;-)Cheers!Ken Wood :-sun1Gateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster

September 20, 200322 yr Once I suggested using real life Pics for the Icons, but seems nobody liked the idea...I am playing with Panel Maker and the 727, one of these years, when I finish it I will include the real life Icon I am using today...Cheers.Javier.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/37966.jpg
