July 27, 200421 yr Good to hear, Roger. You will see that this book will lead straight to a flying model--that is the easy part. The hard part is tweaking the model.;-)tony
July 28, 200421 yr Author G'day Wayne,Mate what's stopping you.! :-) I know that you are very prolific with the airports but an aircraft would be a nice change. As you can see from this thread there are quite a few of us blundering our way along so don't worry, you will have plenty of company. :-) The Fly! forums are the best at Avsim; bar none.3 years ago my last employer had a Baron B58 but as usual I wasn't farsighted enough to get any decent photos. I still have access to the manuals but not a real aircraft. This time I'm determined to get all the photos I can of the Chieftain and Cessna 340. As a matter of fact I just on my way there now for a photographic session. In the true blue Aussie vernacular; "have a go ya mug!" :-)Cheers mate,Roger @YSSY Cheers, Roger http://forum.avsim.net/public/styles_images/flags/au.png
July 28, 200421 yr With no knowledge of 3d max and modeling, I've spent a total of 200 hours learning and studying. Unfortunately, there has to be trial and error before one reaches his goal. When the plane finally appears in FLY2, it's like soloing in a real airplane. It's also very addictive and educational. tony
